I have been here multiple times and have NEVER had bad service, I swore I wrote a review previously but I must not have! My mom and I went to eat a late breakfast today to celebrate my birthday, her’s also happened to be a few days prior. She mentioned it to our waitress who also had a birthday the day before! We talked a bit and mentioned it had been my mom’s a few days prior. A few moments later she came out with a cinnamon roll cake with a candle! When I tell you this made my day I’m not even exaggerating. It was such a sweet act of kindness (and they were SO good!) I am so bummed I didn’t catch her name but massive shout out to her and everyone there. Another man helped my mom with her walker, and as we left we got happy birthdays from all the staff. You guys rock! Amazing service. Amazing food and perfect atmosphere. We don’t get to come often but when we want to grab some great food quick you are always our first thought. Thank you for a wonderful start to our day!
Decided on a whim to stop for breakfast. Completely blown away by the service and the food. My wife and I should have shared a meal instead of each getting our own. Shout out to the cooks who made our order perfect. Soft bacon, over easy eggs, crispy hash browns, toast and two pancakes!! The GIANT sweet roll was so soft and delicious! We needed a box to take it home. We will definitely go back for more.
This place is a must!! It’s a little hole in the wall cafe. Although being pretty small in size they really are effective in the way they serve!! Wait was a bit long but that was expected for its smaller business. The owner felt bad for our long wait so he gave us complimentary homemade cinnamon rolls. Which were amazing I am totally addicted. The food came out fast and tasted delicious I got the loaded hashbrowns. I def recommend trying this place out it is definitely worth it :)
I have driven past this place for years. Finally decided to go in and have breakfast. I was not disappointed. The staff is friendly, and the food was very good. I highly recommend the Neubauer Omelette. My friend got eggs Benedict and thought it was delicious.
We have been driving past this place for 3 weeks now and decided to stop for breakfast on our way out of town. Don't let the building fool you. Inside is a cute little restaurant with great coffee and really good food. Nice portions sizes as well. Hubby ordered two over easy eggs, hashbrowns, sausage patties, and toast. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs. Loved that everyone working there helped each other out.

My family and I were traveling when we stopped at the Windmill cafe. Hands down the best cafe and food I’ve ever had at a breakfast joint! The menu had great options and the food was fresh and the most delicious! Will be stopping here again next time I’m in the area! 100% recommend. Service was super speedy and good came out fast and hot! Staff was super friendly and full of smiles!
The Windmill Cafe has delicious, hot, and fast breakfasts! Also, their menu items are a great value and they have attentive staff and a friendly owner, too! My husband and I returned to the Windmill Cafe for their special walleye breakfast. It was amazing; totally yummy! They offer their walleye breakfast and lunch special only once a month on the second Friday. I love supporting this local, small business! Excellent food and coffee again today! My husband and I enjoyed country fried steak with sausage gravy, perfectly golden hash browns, eggs, toast, and coffee! Great again today!
